Fisherman’s Birthday Celebrations
Fisherman’s Birthday celebrations are in commemoration of the Feast Day of St. Peter and St. Paul. The day’s events begin with church services and the blessing of boats and nets, followed by boat races, fishing displays and late evening parties.

44th Annual Carriacou Regatta Festival
Carriacou Regatta has become a major Caribbean event with work boats from several islands. It promotes the art of boat building handed down by Scottish and Irish settlers in Carriacou. Highlights include the Regatta Cultural Festival, Miss Aquaval Queen Show, and several on-shore sporting events like the Donkey race, Greasy pole, Football and Netball competitions, Obstacle races, Tug-of-war, Arm wrestling, Weight lifting, Beer drinking competition, Musical chairs and more.
